3 wonderful songs, it's just too bad the album isn't 3 songs long.The Killers again, baby let's go. This isn't one of their greatest albums ever but it's pretty fucking dece. Some of these songs on here are absolute S tiers, and some are absolute stinkers, so overall just a mid album. How do I feel about it though? Let's see.
Thoughts & Feelings?
I'm hungover. I don't wanna listen to any metal I don't wanna listen to any punk rock, I need something nice and easy and smooth. This is not the album to pick if you want that though, this album is pretty decent, but only slaps titties when the big splash songs come on. When I'm in the fucking void listening to some of these weird ass songs though, fuck off.
This album makes me feel like my weird ass uncle who has done absolutely nothing with his life but somehow still has all these crazy stories is giving me a ted talk about his entire life. I have no idea what the fuck he's on about but he's just there telling me stories of the 70s, even though he was born in like 85. Whatever, don't fucking ask me to elaborate further.
Smash or Pass?
Wonderful Wonderful - Pass. Honestly this song is pretty odd, but overall good. I love how good the bass is, that shit is awesome. This is such a weird fucking song though, this is some Muse weird type shit. I would never ever listen to this song outside of the album. It's not a bad song it's just weird and I have no fucking idea.
The Man - SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaash. This shit is the FUCKING A BOMB. This kind of song brings me the fuck back to life on days like today. This is the grooviest, funkiest dance song I've ever heard. I fucking love singing this one, it goes so fucking crazy. This is honestly my favourite song on this FUCKING album, this is easily gonna get gold.
Rut - Smash The fuck is this? Though Brandon whispers so fucking well in my god damn ears. That chorus is so nice. I appreciate this song a lot just because it's slow and relaxing, like a nice bubble bath. I don't think I'd listen to this one off the album unless I was absolutely craving it.
Life To Come - Smash. This song is pretty decent. It feels like a continuation of the last song but it's not really. Honestly this song just makes me miss the last one I did, Day & Age. This song is kinda fun but mostly just average. This is one of those songs that I just have nothing to say just because of how average it is. So yeah. I guess.
Run For Cover - SAHUHUHUHUHMMMAAAASSSHHH BABY. Let's go, this fucking song rocks my cock let's go. This song is amazing. I love this song, it makes me want to fucking cry my eyes out because of how fucking GOOD it is. Let's fucking GO. THIS SONG IS THE KILLERS, This song is what the Killers are. That SECOND VERSE BABY MMMM. Yes. Kind of a shitty bridge though.
Tyson vs Douglas - SMASH. This song is fucking awesome. The fact that it's about a fight it so FUCKING cool. I absolutely love this song. The fact that it opens with the end of the fight is so fucking great. Yeah what a fucking unique song, this is awesome. It also sounds great, so that happens.
Some Kind Of Love - Smash. This song makes me feel like I'm in aroma therapy. This is literally like... I can SEE a movie scene in my head listening to this song. It's near the very end where the guy meets up with the girl after they had a bad fight and they get back together or whatever. This song is the slowest thing on planet fucking earth. Whatever it's still enjoyable.
Out Of My Mind - Smash. I really don't know what to say anymore, this song is so painfully average. Like over half this song has gone by, and I wasn't really paying attention. I was too busy yelling at you in the conclusion section, sorry about that. Anyway yeah this song is enjoyable to listen to but it's so fucking average that I don't think I'm ever going to hear this song ever again in my life, because there's zero point.
The Calling - Pass. Ayo shoutout to Woody Harrelson. I loved him in... some movie, I guess. I don't really remember him in any movie actually. What was that zombie movie. What was that magic movie. Idk he was in those ones. This song is honestly bad. Honestly I don't really know. There's something off about this song and I can't tell why. I want to go back to yelling at you. I was VERY close to skipping this song, we've never had that before on the blog.
Have All The Songs Been Written? - Smash. (Edit: Pass) I am surprised by this song. I was about to make a joke about I wish all the songs have been written cause this sucks, but honestly this song isn't half bad. It's slow and boring as fuck though. It's better than I expected it to be, but it's just so FUCKING SLOW. PICK UP THE GOD DAMN PACE, FUCK. Okay I take it back, this song fucking sucks. It had SO MUCH POTENTIAL, but it just never picked up.
Money On Straight - Pass. I miss The Man :( I want to go back to Run For Cover. This album is Stop telling me what to do, Brandon. I don't want to get a hair cut. Why is he telling me to get a hair cut? The fuck are you, Brandon? Whatever this song sucks dick, I'm glad this album is over. The only good songs are the medal songs, fuck this album it sucks.
Conclusion
This album has some great hits. The Man, Run For Cover, and Tyson vs Douglas are great songs. Don't listen to this album in my opinion. It's not that wonderful wonderful. It's OKAY, but the hits are where your ass gets smacked, so listen to those. Honestly yeah skip this album, GO LISTEN TO THE MAN, that shit is fucking fire.
